Who can enroll at GILA?

Any high school student who is an Alaska resident can enroll at the Galena Interior Learning Academy.

How much does it cost to enroll at GILA?

GILA does not charge any tuition. Families are required to pay a $300 annual Activities Fee.

What kind of student is GILA looking for?

GILA students want high academic rigor combined with vocational classes and training.

What if I don’t want to enroll online?

You can call the school at 907-656-2053 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to speak with Dave Pavish. We’ll be glad to help you fill out the enrollment form over the phone.

When do I find out if I’ve been accepted?

Dave Pavish receive online enrollments the moment you send it to us. You will be contacted by Dave to finish the enrollment interview process and be told about the status of your application.
