The Galena City School District requires 26 hours of high school credit. Individual credits may vary based on the time of student transfer. Students will complete four years of English, Math, Social Studies and Science. |
| A variety of of electives are offered to round out the student's academic day. Art, arts and culture, music, academic decathalon, and physical education are just a few to select. |

Classes in welding, woods, electronics, computer technology, and health are vocational fields available to explore. Additionally, national certifications are available in automotive technology, culinary arts, cosmetology, and aviation. |
