Hello, my name is Molissa Bifelt.  I am proud to say that I am the math teacher at Galena Interior Learning Academy for the 06-07 school year.  My family is originally from Huslia and Fort Yukon, but I was born and raised in Fairbanks.  I recently graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a double major in Mathematics and Statistics.  I spent last year working to attain my teaching certificate for secondary math.  This is my first year teaching and it has been an exciting one at that.  I enjoy running, reading books, beading, cooking, and sharing my Koyukon Athabascan background.  I hope that this year will be a positive learning experience for the students and me.  Thank you for sending your students to GILA!
