Paul’s Bio

I’ve been enjoying flight instruction since 1981, mostly as a check pilot for Civil Air Patrol and orientation pilot and Ground School Instructor for CAP cadets.  Other flying duties included Search and Rescue and Counter Drug Mission Pilot. 

Fran(my wife) and I spent a year in Nome and fell in love with Alaska so I welcomed the opportunity to come to GILA to teach aviation.  I couldn’t believe that GILA gave high school students the opportunity to earn a Private Pilot License free of charge!  That opportunity probably doesn’t exist anywhere else in the USA.
