Who can enroll at GILA?

Any high school student who is an Alaska resident can enroll at the Galena Interior Learning Academy.

How much does it cost to enroll at GILA?

Enrollment is free.

What kind of student are we looking for?

GILA students want high academic rigor combined with vocational classes and training.

What if I don’t want to enroll online?

You can call the school at 907-656-2053 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. We’ll be glad to help you fill out the enrollment form over the phone.

When do I find out if I’ve been accepted?

School officials receive online enrollments the moment you send it to us. You will be contacted beginning in April 2010 to finish the enrollment interview process and be told about the status of your application.
