My name is David Gonder; I am 27 years old and from Hubbard, Ohio. I graduated from Thiel College in Greenville, PA in December of 2000 with a BA in history/secondary education. While at Thiel I was a four year letter winner on the varsity football team, president of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, vice-president of the Thiel College chapter of the Inter Fraternity Council, member of the Young Educators Club, the History Club, and the Weightlifters club. I was recognized twice on the Thiel College Dean’s List and graduated with a 3.0 GPA. I am certified to teach Social Studies grades 7-12 in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. Since graduation I substitute taught in several local school districts around Hubbard and western PA. I coached 7th and 8th grade football in Greenville, PA for one year and in Hubbard for three years. I also coached varsity track and field in Hubbard for two years as an assistant shot put and discus coach and in Sharpsville, PA for one year as the first assistant varsity track and field coach. I specifically coached the shot put, discus, and javelin throwers. |
