Ptarmigan Hall Manager
Jeffrey Bauer. Who? The oldest of three brothers, born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
A man with an interest in many things odd, starting with a degree a chemistry (a wonderful and fun subject) and also a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction (fancy way for saying secondary education).
A person who enjoys working with youth so much that he has done so for the past Twelve plus summers (camps and local pool). A weirdo who enjoys both playing nonsense games with preschool kids (which he did for a year) and deep, intellectual, confusing and (not or) fun discussions with young adults.
A creative being, who plays with carving wood, growing plants (back at home he has an Orange tree, Pineapple plant, several Pomegranates bushes and assorted others including a Spider Plant and Wandering Jew pair that survived six years of college), and Role-Playing Games (and a LARP or two).
An intelligent human, who loves reading, and seeing the light of “Ah, I get it” appear in peoples' eyes. A kind person, a pacifist with sense of humor and lots of patience.
He was an RA at GILA for two years and is the Hall Manager this year.
