Vera Rose Mountain

Hello and good day! 
I am Vera Rose Mountain, daughter of the late Simeon and the late Josephine Mountain, both of Nulato. 

I belong to the Nulato Tribe and I am an Athabascan Indian.  I am the Auxiliary Services Manager, which is a new position at Wilderness Hall. I am responsible for the front desk staff and all operations, medications, room inventory forms and linen sheets for both the girls and boys floors, keys and padlocks for all students. 

I have worked for this establishment for seven and a half years.  I enjoy working with youth from all over Alaska.  Mostly, I enjoy seeing young freshman entering school and watching them mature into young adults as seniors.  On a personal note, my youngest brother is completing high school here at GILA.  I am happy to be able to watch him become a young man.  Well, here’s to a great year of successes and happy memories!
